Funding Updates 2022

The Town has been developing a multi-modal trail (“Windermere Ward Trail”) that would allow safe pedestrian and bike access to educational, civic, and recreational destinations. On March 14, 2022, the Town’s federal appropriations request of $760,000 for funding of this project, through Congresswoman Val Demings, was signed into law. This money will go toward Phase 1 of this project as well as the new pedestrian bridge.
