Windermere’s seven-member, all-volunteer Development Review Board is appointed by Town Council as a citizen advisory board. The DRB reviews and makes recommendations to the Council on, but not limited to:
- Development plans
- Variance requests
- Home occupation license requests
- Changes to the code that are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan
The committee may, at times, be required to hold a public hearing to gather information for the Council as it addresses its agenda. This board meets on the third Tuesday of the month, unless otherwise specified.
Whenever possible, the board shall include an architect or landscape architect, an engineer, a person engaged in real estate sales or development, and a natural or environmental scientist.
Unless otherwise noted, the DRB meets the third Tuesday of every month at Town Hall (520 Main Street). Meetings begin at 6:30 pm.
