Event Description
The Town has been developing a multi-modal trail (“Windermere Ward Trail”) that would allow safe pedestrian and bike access to educational, civic, and recreational destinations. On March 14, 2022, the Town’s federal appropriations request of $760,000 for funding of this project, through Congresswoman Val Demings, was signed into law. This money will go toward Phase 1 of this project as well as the new pedestrian bridge.
The Town will hold a virtual public workshop on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 6:00pm. The Zoom link is below. If you are unable to attend this workshop, the recording will be uploaded to the Town’s YouTube page within 48 business hours. If you are unable to attend, but would like to make a public comment or have a question/concern addressed, please submit your comment to Town Clerk, Dorothy Burkhalter, no later than 4pm on April 5.
