WINDERMERE TREE GIVEAWAY
WHO: Sponsored by the Windermere Tree Board, available to Town residents.*
WHAT: Tree giveaway in honor of Arbor Day
WHERE: Town of Windermere public parking lot located on the corner of W 5th Avenue and Forest Street (entrance at W 5th Ave and Main Street). There will be directional signage
WHEN: Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 9am to 2pm. Beginning at 12pm, residents who wish for an additional tree and non-residents may purchase leftover trees
Simply follow the directional signage to the Town of Windermere Public Parking lot at the corner of W. 5th Ave. and Forest Street. Join the line of cars, and a volunteer will be with you shortly. Choose a tree off the menu you’re provided, and a volunteer will bring the tree you selected to your car – no need to get out or do any “heavy lifting!” Your first tree of 2024 is free!
*Resident is defined as residing within the 2.2 sq mile incorporated Town. Not every address within the 34786-zip code is within the incorporated limits.
