2024 Event
The Town of Windermere, Windermere Police Department, and Windermere Police Department Foundation have once again partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace for another Bunk Bed Build!
The 2024 event will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 8am until 12pm at Town Square Park (520 Main Street).
To volunteer, please complete the registration form at the bottom of this page. All are welcome, however please note that volunteers under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to participate, and volunteers under age 16 will need a parent or legal guardian present. All volunteers should wear close-toed shoes for safety. Please consider bringing along your own safety gear as applicable (goggles, mask, gloves, etc.).
All beds will be distributed to homes in-need in the Central Florida area.

Can’t attend the event but still want to help? Consider making a donation to help the Windermere Police Department Foundation, Inc. purchase the materials and supplies needed to build the beds.
Donating is easy. You can donate online* with a card or stop by 614 Main Street in Windermere and make a check, card, or cash donation (ask for Diane Edwards).
