Important – Fernwood Park – Power Outage

Duke Energy stopped by to let us know that they will be fixing the power and lines running of the power pole at Fernwood Park tomorrow. In order to repair the frayed lines, they need to shut the power down. They will be there tomorrow, and we anticipate they will shut the power off at around 9 am and hope to be finished and powered back up by noon.

The Fernwood Pedestrian Gate and the Vehicle Gate will be locked open at around 8 am and close them again once Duke is finished.

Due to the nature of this damage, we do not want to delay allowing Duke to make this repair. Hopefully, they will not be called off to an outage and can get this done tomorrow.
