Event Description
After feedback from Food Trucks and staff, the Town of Windermere has made the difficult decision to pause food truck events over the summer months of June, July, and August. Trucks were consulted prior to the decision being made, and the overwhelming majority expressed support for pausing over the summer. This decision was not made lightly, however, we believe this is in the best interest of our trucks, Downtown residents, and staff. Summer events are the lowest attended events, and are frequently rained out. When there is no rain, it is incredibly hot for the trucks and event attendees. Pausing over the summer also gives Downtown Windermere residents a reprieve from event traffic and noise. We love our events, but we also want to be cognizant of the quality of life for our Downtown neighbors Thank you for your support and understanding – we are excited to return September 22 for National Night Out! |
