Event Description
School is out, summer is here, and activity at the parks and on the lakes has increased. The Town has received multiple reports from concerned residents regarding inappropriate and disruptive activity at the Lake Street parks. In order to address these concerns and glean possible solutions, Town Manager Smith, WPD Chief Ogden, and Public Works Director Elliott-Moore will host two virtual public workshops.
- Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 6pm
- Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at 6pm
The information presented at each workshop will be the same. There is no need to RSVP to these workshops. If you are unable to attend, the workshop recordings will be uploaded to the Town’s YouTube page after their completion. If you are unable to attend either workshop, but still would like your concerns or comments addressed during either workshop, please send them to Windermere Town Clerk, Dorothy Burkhalter, no later than 4pm on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 or Tuesday, July 12th, 2022.
The solutions discussed in these workshops will later be presented to the Parks and Recreation Committee and Town Council later in July and August.
Zoom info is below. The agenda will be posted by June 30th, 2022, and will be available here
