on the west, Lake Down on the east, and Lake Bessie on the southeast.
By means of a system of canals, Butler, Down and six other lakes
are connected to form what is known as the Butler Chain.

Permitting Requirements
Windermere Town Code,
Chapter 2, Article 1, Section 2-4
If you live inside the Town limits of Windermere or doing a job for someone
who does, you need a permit to build a house, build/replace a fence, add
a pool, patio, addition, driveway, remove a tree, etc. Please follow the

Book can be picked up at Suzi Karr Realty Office (527 Main Street, 407-876-3688).
Extra copies are available to purchase for $29.00 each. Any Town resident
who has not received their free book will need to provide proof of residency
at that time.

Town Council, Development Review Board and the Downtown Business District
