SPECIAL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING / ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION NOTICE
There will be special meeting of the Town Council during which an attorney-client session will be held in accordance with Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, with Mayor Loren “Andy” Williams, Council Members Catherine “CT” Allen, Mandy David, Tony Davit, Brandi Haines, and Tom Stroup, Town Manager Robert Smith, Town Attorneys Rachael Crews, Heather Ramos, Bud Beddington, Glennys Ortega Rubin, and Julissa Rodriguez on April 6, at 6:00 pm, in Town Hall located at 520 Main Street, Windermere, FL 34786.
The purpose of the attorney-client session is to allow the Town Attorneys to seek advice from the Town Council which will be confined to settlement negotiations and strategy related to litigation expenditures regarding the pending lawsuits of Town of Windermere v. Fanelli, Daniel et al., (Court Case #: 2022-CA-006509-O) and Town of Windermere v. Fanelli, Daniel et al., (Court Case #: 6D2025-2962).

After our first Lakes Cleanup Day on November 2, here’s your chance to join us for Round 2!
Meeting Location: Fernwood Park, 632 Butler Street
Time: 1:15 PM (to gather supplies and organize teams)
What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes; be prepared to walk through neighborhoods collecting trash to prevent litter from entering our lakes.
This is a great activity for the whole family—minors must be accompanied by an adult.

West 2nd Avenue Construction Week of March 30th to April 3rd

Please be sure to allow for extra travel time!
Crews will be repairing concrete and paver driveways and grading dirt behind the curb where needed. Sodding, mulching, or installing gravel. Tuesday and Wednesday are paving days. Here’s what to expect from Monday (3/30) to Friday (4/03):
Tie-in paver and concrete driveways to the new curb where needed.
Backfill and grade behind curbs in the right-of-way.
***IMPORTANT***
Paving is scheduled for March 31st & April 1st. On Tuesday, March 31st, there will be a full road closure from 801 W. 2nd Ave to the cul-de-sac from 8:00 am 6 pm. No vehicles will be able to come or go during this time.
If there is a delay due to inclement weather, paving will resume the following day on the same 2-day schedule.
Please pay attention to specific paving notices and read the details related to the paving dates.

Butler St & 7th Ave Construction - Week of March 30th to April 03rd
This week, a crew may be doing limited work in Fernwood Park and possibly working in various areas along Butler and Forest Streets and 7th Ave. Here’s what to expect from Monday (3/30) to Friday (4/03):
A crew may be grading a swale in Fernwood Park.
A crew may continue work along Butler and Forest Streets and
7th Ave, working on swales and road shoulders.
There may be daytime lane closures on Butler Street between 6th and 7th Avenues and on 7th Ave between Forest and Butler Streets.

Construction Update for 3rd Ave. and Magnolia Street - Week of March 30th to April 3rd
Crews will be installing storm drainage alongside 3rd Street. Here’s what to expect from Monday (3/30) to Friday (4/03):
Forming and pouring a concrete weir in the retention area.
Orange County Water will hopefully relocate a service line.
Completion of storm pipe after water service relocation.

West 2nd Avenue Paving Notice (West of Palm Street)
Monday, March 30 – Wednesday, April 1
Please read carefully—these three days will involve significant disruptions to traffic and access.
Monday, March 30
• A milling operation will remove existing asphalt between Palm Street and Pine Street, and from 903–923 W 2nd Avenue.
• If milling is not completed on Monday, it will occur on Tuesday alongside paving operations.
Tuesday, March 31 (Most Impactful Day)
• Full road closure for residents from 801 W 2nd Avenue to the cul-de-sac between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
• During this time, no vehicles will be able to enter or exit.
• All service providers and deliveries (lawn care, pool service, contractors, etc.) will be turned away at Pine Street.
• No garbage or recycling collection will occur.
• Only emergency vehicles (fire/rescue) will be permitted access.
• The paving equipment will occupy the entire roadway, and large dump trucks will be backing down the street with hot asphalt.
Important: Crews may begin staging as early as 6:30 AM.
• Paving will start at 8:00 AM at the cul-de-sac and proceed toward Palm Street.
• After 8:00 AM, access will be completely restricted.
Wednesday, April 1
• Paving resumes at 8:00 AM from 799 W 2nd Avenue to Palm Street.
• The contractor will pave one lane at a time (two passes total).
• Limited traffic may be able to pass carefully; however, large vehicles and service deliveries may still be restricted.
• Residents are encouraged to minimize travel if possible.
Additional Information
• Speed humps will be reinstalled within 1–2 weeks by a separate crew.
• Daytime road closures will be in effect throughout the project.
