Windermere Police Department Easter Egg-Stravaganza

2021 Event

Due to the Pandemic, and because last year’s event was so successful, in lieu of the Easter Egg-Stravaganza, Windermere PD will lead another Easter Parade through Town, beginning at 10am and ending at 12 noon.

View the route here. Please note, this event is for residents of the incorporated Town limits.

Please be sure to keep at least 6′ of distance between your family and your neighbors. We will be handing out Easter bags to the kids. Easter bags may contain small toys, chocolates, candies, and other items. Parents, please keep an eye on small children when opening their bags.

2020 Easter Parade

Due to COVID-19, the Town of Windermere was unable to host the annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza, presented by Windermere PD, at Town Hall this year. Town Staff were left with 6,500 eggs and the potential for a lot of disappointed residents! Thanks to the Winderemere Safety Watch and some quick thinking, the 6,500 eggs were able to be bagged and distributed to residents’ children on the morning of April 11. The Easter Bunny joined the Windermere Police Department on a 2-hour parade through Town to spread a little Easter cheer while still ensuring residents were able to stay safe and healthy.

An extra special thanks to Michael Cairns, who was able to capture some amazing photos of the parade. Click this link to view and download photos, free of charge.

2019 Easter Egg-Stravaganza

We had a record-breaking number of attendees! Thank you to the Winderemere Police Department, the WPD Foundation, Public Works, Town Staff, Mayor O’Brien, and everyone who joined in on the fun!
