Parents, please supervise your children!
These events get crowded; it is easy to get lost or separated from your children. We understand the landscaping and historic buildings are enticing to young, adventurous kids; however, they are not meant to be climbed on or jumped off of. They can be fragile or dangerous! Please help us preserve the landscaping and historic buildings by ensuring your children are respectful of Town property and of other guests.

About March Food Truck Night...

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the March 27 Special Food Truck Night. It was truly a memorable evening filled with great food, music, and community spirit.

A special thank you to our residents and guests for coming together to celebrate and to give a meaningful farewell to Mayor Jim O’Brien. Your presence made the evening even more meaningful as we honored his years of dedication and service to the Town of Windermere.

We are grateful for the incredible lineup of nearly 20 food trucks, the fantastic live performance by The Down Brothers, and the participation of the Windermere Library, all of which helped make the event such a success.

We would also like to recognize our wonderful local businesses that supported the event inside Town Hall:

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, including Ms. Joan Foglia for the beautiful floral arrangements that decorated Town Hall, and Bill Martini for bringing laughter and warmth with his memorable and humorous roast of the Mayor.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the O’Brien family for their unwavering support and dedication throughout Mayor O’Brien’s years of service to our community.

Finally, we thank our generous event sponsors:

It was truly a night to remember, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make it so special.

Interested in Becoming a Food Truck Vendor?

Are you interested in becoming a food truck vendor? Please gather the following items and email them to Lilian Colli:

  1. Complete The Application

  2. 1-3 photos of your truck (unfortunately, we do not accommodate tents at this event, only trucks)

  3. 3-5 photos of your food (please send photo attachments; not links to social media)

  4. A copy of your menu with prices

Once this information has been completed, you will be placed on the subsequent Food Truck / Farmers Market Selection Committee Meeting agenda. All potential trucks must be voted on by the Selection Committee before participating in Windermere events. Once the Committee has met and voted, Lilian will reach out and let you know your next steps.

Please note, due to a high volume of trucks, new vendors can expect to be scheduled 0-1 time per quarter.

We bill $150 per event a truck attends. Further details on payments can be found in the application.

For power-related questions, please contact Public Works Operations Manager, Travis Mathias – 321-299-2409.
