Windermere PD 2020 Easter Parade

— Monday, April 13, 2020

Due to COVID-19, the Town of Windermere was unable to host the annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza, presented by Windermere PD, at Town Hall this year. Town Staff were left with 6,500 eggs and the potential for a lot of disappointed residents! Thanks to the Winderemere Safety Watch and some quick thinking, the 6,500 eggs were able to be bagged and distributed to residents’ children on the morning of April 11. The Easter Bunny joined the Windermere Police Department on a 2-hour parade through Town to spread a little Easter cheer while still ensuring residents were able to stay safe and healthy.

An extra special thanks to Michael Cairns, who was able to capture some amazing photos of the parade. Click this link to view and download photos, free of charge.
