Monday, May 4, we are excited to welcome Pastor Troy Schmidt of First Baptist Church of Windermere to our Virtual Town Hall Meeting!

Whether sharing stories that inspire young people or guiding teens to adults through the bible with Inspirational, Devotional or Christian Living books, he has published more than fifty works.

He wrote for three Disney parades on ABC (Easter and Christmas), and a Disney Animal Kingdom show. He later adapted a Max Lucado children’s book, “Hermie The Common Caterpillar”, into a video, creating and writing a total of thirteen Hermie & Friends videos and more than twenty different books for Tommy Nelson.
As a Producer and Writer for “The American Bible Challenge” with Jeff Foxworthy for all three seasons, Troy adapted his writings to create a daily devotional, “The American Bible Challenge Daily Reader” and the “The American Bible Challenge Board Game.”
Working closely with Alex and Stephen Kendrick, Troy wrote “This Mean’s War” a teen prayer journal based on the movie War Room and “Revealed” a teen boy’s devotional book through B&H for their movie upcoming movie Overcomer. Over the past 5 years he has written numerous Inspirational and Devotional books for Baker and Broadstreet. Recently he released a Christian Living book, “Fish Sandwiches: The Delight of Receiving God’s Promises,” through NavPress.
Recently, Troy has focused his attention on the issue of religious freedom in America through his book “Holding the Line: America’s Fight for Religious Freedom.” His Facebook group and website spotlight constant daily attacks on religious freedom by atheist groups.
