Dr. Jeff Barnes, “Mental Health in Times of Crisis,” Joins us For Wednesday’s Virtual Town Hall
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jeff Barnes to our Virtual Town Hall Meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, 4/8) to talk about mental health during times of crisis.
Dr. Barnes is a Counseling Pastor and Elder at Real Life Christian Church in Clermont, as well as the Counseling Director for Hope Center, also in Clermont. Dr. Barnes directs, trains and oversee all counseling with an average of 400 appointments per month. He has 40 Years of counseling experience and has trained over 400 Care Counselors. Dr. Barnes has served as a Military Chaplain, Fire Chaplain, and Police Chaplain. Dr. Barnes studied EMT at Valencia, and was an
Intelligence Liaison Officer with Central Florida Intelligence Exchange.
Dr. Barnes specializes in Critical Incident Stress Management, Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD, Marriage Counseling, Family Counseling, Blended Families, Grief Recovery, Anger Management
Crisis Counseling, Recovery from Trauma, Suicide Prevention, Suicide Counseling, and Forgiveness Therapy.
Dr. Barnes published “Real Forgiveness” in 2009 and “Marriage Re:Designed” in 2020.
