Communications
The Communications Director is responsible for creating & distributing agendas & multichannel marketing materials for events, meetings, workshops, projects, traffic & safety alerts, emergency management notifications, and general information regarding the Town via digital and print campaigns. The Communications Director manages the following:
- Agendas
- Bulletin Board
- Door hangers
- Email alerts
- Gazette
- Lobby Screens
- Mobile App
- Press Releases
- Social Media
- Website
Events
The Communications Director either directly coordinates or supports all Town events and functions.
Coordination
- 4th of July Pancake Breakfast
- Food Truck Nights (including truck application and sponsorship information)
- Staff Events
- WPD Operation Easter Bunny

- 2025 Centennial Celebration
- Elder Luncheons
- Farmers Markets
- Halloween Hayride & Costume Parade
- Mayor’s 9/11 Memorial
- PetFest
- Run Among the Lakes
- Windermere Police Department Foundation Events

Misc.
In addition to the duties above, the Communications Director is also responsible for the following:
- Notary Services (only for Town residents)
- Rentals of Town Hall, Pavilion, and Community Room
- Special Event Permit Applications
- Windermere Tennis Leagues
