NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING FOR A PROPOSED REZONING, THE PRELIMINARY DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND THE

DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT

OF THE

TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WINDERMERE

FOR THE PROJECT CALLED WINDSONG AT WINDERMERE

 

Notice is hereby given that the Town Council for the Town of Windermere, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be considered) Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in the Town Hall, located at 520 Main Street, Windermere, Florida, to hear and consider whether to adopt Ordinance 2014-14, an amendment to the Town’s Zoning Map for 32 acres of real property located at 1800 and 2042 Maguire Road from Orange County Rural Country Estate (RCE) to the Town of Windermere Planned Unit Development (PUD) for the project known as Windsong at Windermere. At this public hearing the Town Council will also review and approve, approve with conditions, or deny the Preliminary Development Plan and approve, approve with conditions, or deny the Development Agreement for the project known as Windsong at Windermere. 

 

The title of the Ordinance is as follows:

 

ORDINANCE 2014-14

 

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF WINDERMERE, ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO REZONING; AMENDING THE TOWN OF WINDERMERE’S ZONING MAP FOR 32 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1800 AND 2042 MAGUIRE ROAD IN WINDERMERE (PROPERTY APPRAISER PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS 06-23-28-0000-00-004, 06-23-28-0000-00-030, AND 06-23-28-0000-00-061) FROM ORANGE COUNTY RURAL COUNTRY ESTATE (RCE) TO TOWN OF WINDERMERE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) TO BE KNOWN AS WINDSONG AT WINDERMERE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; SUPERSEDING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREOF; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Interested parties may appear at the Town Council Transmittal public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed rezoning, the Preliminary Development Plan, and the draft development agreement.

 

NO FINAL ACTION TO ADOPT THE AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING MAP WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS MEETING. 

 

The proposed Ordinance 2014-14 is available at the Town Clerk’s Office, 614 Main Street, Windermere, Florida, for inspection during normal business hours of Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) anyone who needs a special accommodation for this meeting should contact the Town Clerk at least 48 hours before the meeting. 

 

Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at this meeting, they will need a record of the proceeding, and for such purposes, they may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based, per Section 286.0105 F.S.
